Prioritizing Inclusion: Skills Clinic & Anti-Racism Training

In collaboration with IMBA, the Nebraska Interscholastic Cycling League and Trails Have Our Respect, hosted a mountain bike skills clinic and anti-racism event with professional mountain bike athlete Anita Naidu. Omaha-Metro area cyclists received coaching from Naidu, an athlete, mountain bike coach, and international humanitarian, focusing on bike handling skills to boost their confidence.

After the clinic, riders and local community stakeholders gathered at Astute Coffee for an open roundtable discussion about race and anti-racism education.

"These anti-racism bike clinics provide an opportunity to share expertise and knowledge in the pursuit of creating more capable and informed lifelong advocates, not just within the outdoor community but for society as a whole," said Anita.
